Dental Excellence Integrative Center utilizes DIAGNOdent® laser for caries (cavity) detection. DIAGNOdentis® a state-of-the-art laser technology that allows for precise diagnosis. It allows us to monitor the areas below the hard surfaces, which gives us insight to hidden decay below the surface. Decay is a silent progressive infection which undermines the dentin and pulp which can eventually become unsightly, cause pain and result in an unpleasant root canal therapy. Early detection of caries encourages a healthy recovery outcome.
